About CFR Waterproofing Ltd.

CFR Waterproofing has over 30 years experience in applying waterproofing systems to leaking roofs or those in need of renewal. These being through our sister company, Cheam Felt Roofing.

CFR Waterproofing became its own entity, due to the demand for a durable roofing system with a no flame application. This was required by clients such as schools, offices & factory buildings. Through the utilization of this Spray Applied Liquid Rubber Waterproofing System threat of fire damage is greatly reduced.

CFR Waterproofing has attained the Approved Contractor status, being fully vetted and trained by Sealoflex (Sealofex.co.uk) to install their flexible and durable products. We work closely with their technical team to attain the highest standards demanded with using this material.

We have invested in the latest technology and believe we are one of only a few contractors in the country with the ability to apply the Sealoflex Liquid Rubber in this manner. This machine (see photo on right) allows us to evenly apply the Liquid Rubber by spray or roller from ground to roof level in addition to a direct application on the roof surface.

Due to our client demand for a no flame application, we have adapted over the past 10 years away from the traditional torch on methods used in the 70s, 80s & 90s. We can no longer use the traditional felt options for local authorities, schools, factories and offices.

We now firmly believe that due to the number of fire-damaged claims being made to insurance companies, they will soon demand and only insure the no flame application process. The technology is now available, and is the future in roof waterproofing systems.
